APPROACH AND PROCESS

Getting to the resource and producing

Whatever the type (borehole or probe), depth (5 or 5,000 meters) or complexity (vertical, tilted, oriented, multidrains, subhorizontal, etc), a well in the subsurface must ensure sustainable, environmentally-friendly operation.

Based on the know-how of our engineers and consultants, experts in geothermal drilling, CFG Géothermal provides you with cutting-edge engineering, whatever the geological context and the type of project, whether deep or shallow.

Building sustainable, high-performance wells

  • Design of wells adapted to project conditions (geology, production objectives, reinjection, completion, specific environmental constraints, etc.)
  • Selection of appropriate well designs
  • Development of the detailed drilling and testing program
  • Selection of materials (steel, fiberglass, etc.)
  • Well trajectory calculations and optimization
  • Capture engineering and reservoir drilling methods
  • Sourcing of companies to undertake the drilling work
  • Contractor consultation and cost optimization
  • Assistance with contracts with drilling contractors and service companies
  • Planning, coordinating and managing the work
  • Drilling work supervision (7/7 – 24/24)

Completing the wells and bringing them into production

Boasting 40 years of experience in supervising geothermal operations in France and abroad, our experienced engineers and technicians are at the service of our clients for the maintenance and renewal of geothermal production equipment.

At CFG Géothermal, we develop our own treatment technologies (Inhibitor Treatment Tube) and collaborate with equipment manufacturers and suppliers in the water and oil & gas sectors.

  • Sizing of pumping equipment (production / reinjection)
  • Design and construction of fluid conditioning and treatment systems to prevent corrosion and/or deposits (treatment stations)
  • Installation and commissioning of equipment – definition of initial state
  • Advice on treatment and operating procedures
  • Wellhead layout and access

Maintaining the system and optimizing production

Our electro-mechanics, hydraulic engineers and geochemists support operators in equipment monitoring and maintenance.

With the constant aim of optimizing performance, CFG Géothermal measures, interprets and diagnoses pathologies in your geothermal production equipment.

In the event of a breakdown, our teams are immediately mobilized from our bases in Orléans (45) and Montmirail (51). With a stock of spare parts adapted to your needs, CFG Géothermal ensures maximum production continuity.

  • Technical and regulatory monitoring of your systems (physical and physico-chemical measurements)
  • Diagnostic reports and advice
  • Identification of pathologies related to the resource, boreholes and production equipment
  • Logging inspection and interpretation
  • Diagnosis of failures and malfunctions
  • Rehabilitation programs of varying complexity
  • Drawing of detailed diagnoses
  • Consulting in preventive maintenance
  • Consulting in corrective maintenance
  • Consulting in fluid conditioning maintenance
  • Timely response in case of breakdowns
  • Scheduled maintenance operations
  • Secure storage and shipment of equipment on site
  • Supply of well equipment and specialized materials
