APPROACH AND PROCESS

Innovating

From concept to reality

Fiberglass wells

Steel corrosion is a scourge in all industries that work with hot, salty, acidic fluids. Having pioneered the development of bottomhole anti-corrosion treatment systems, CFG Géothermal is now working on fiberglass well casing and lining solutions.

Heat storage

CFG Géothermal is a major player in the research on technical solutions for heat/cold storage, particularly in deep aquifers. The heat produced by data centers and incineration plants, among others, is referred to as waste heat. Recovering it and storing it in aquifers is a major challenge for the energy transition.

CO2 injection

A greenhouse gas, CO2 is soluble in water Re-injection wells in geothermal doublets are potential vectors for CO2-rich fluids in deep aquifers.
