Building a model of the subsurface
Our geologists and geophysicists are real explorers of the subsurface! They mainly work with two types of data: the drilling data used to characterize the various geological layers being drilled, and the geophysical data (seismic, etc.) used to characterize their geometry. After being processed and interpreted, the data are used to create a subsurface model.
Hydrogeologists and modelers are responsible for appraising the available geothermal resource, assessing heat production potential and numerically simulating reservoir behavior. They recommend the technical means to optimize production. They contribute to the drawing up of development scenarios and plans.
